Day – 01

Pick up from Thiruvananthapuram Airport / Railway Station and proceed to Kovalam

KOVALAM Beach: This internationally renowned beach has been favorite haunt of tourists since 1930’s. Kovalam consists of three adjacent crescent beaches. The southernmost, known as the -Light House beach- is the most popular. Enjoy the beach and remove your hang over of the long trip.

Day – 02

Following the breakfast proceed for THIRUVANANTHAPURAMA sight seeing......

The ZOOLOGICAL PARK: (10.00am to 6.15 pm- Closed on Mondays). One of the first Zoos in India. It is located in a well planed Botanical Garden, with huge trees, sprawling lawns and wild fowl swimming in the lakes which feel like a small jungle in the heart of the City. A reptile house with different species of snakes is also located in this premise.

Evening visit: PADMANABHA SWAMY TEMPLE: This temple is located inside the East Fort. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the Temple is a blend of the Kerala and Dravidian styles of architecture. It is known for its mural paintings and stone carving. Only Hindus are allowed inside the temple. (Dress Code : DHOTHY for men and SAREE for women)

SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY MUSEUM COMPLEX: The exhibits here are related to Science, Technology and Electronics.(10.00 am to 05.00 pm-Closed on Mondays)

PRIYADARSHINY PLANITORIUM, (Daily shows from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm)
The NAPIER MUSEUM & SREE CHITRA ART GALLERY: (10.00am to 04.45 pm- Closed on Mondays and Wednesday forenoons)
Located near the Napier Museum, this art gallery displays select paintings of RAJA RAVI VARMA, Svetlana and Nicholas Roerich and exquisite works from the Rajput, Mughal and Tanjore schools of art in India. The collection also includes paintings from China, Japan, Tibet and Bali.

Finish your sightseeing trip on or before 04:00 PM and return back to KOVALAM Beach… enjoy the sunset.

Following the breakfast proceed to Varkala.

Varkala is a quaint little fishing hamlet, just 50 km from

Thiruvananthapuram International Airport (Capital city). Along the rocky shoreline of Varkala are a couple of coves with many a virgin sandy beach. The Thiruvambady Beach with its exotic silvery black sand is the all-time favorite. Krishnatheeram is perched on the rock formation cliff hugging the Thiruvambady Beach.

Spread over half-an-acre of prime land this tastefully laid out spanking new resort with an ethnic architecture is indeed a warm and welcoming sight for sore eyes. The contours of the land and the coconut palms have been judiciously left intact with a marvelous open-air restaurant overlooking the beach and offering stunning view of endless sunsets setting the horizon ablaze every evening.

Evening visit- Varkala beach…………

Varkala beach is a serene sea resort rich in mineral water springs, 5 km away from Varkala railway station. A dip in the holy water of these springs is known to cleanse the body of all impurities and the soul of all sins. Hence it is known as ‘Papanasam’ beach. Papanasam beach is a perfect setting to spend the day leisurely amidst the beauty of the golden sunset and towering cliffs of red.
It is an important Ayurvedic treatment centre.

The lotus shaped beach provides an important location for Hindu pilgrims all over India, who flock together on new moon days and on special occasions to perform religious rites for the purification of the souls of their dear, departed forefathers.

Day – 04

Following the breakfast and ...Departure with lots of memories,Friendships and thousands of photographs.The cab will drop you at the THIRUVANATHAPURAM AIRPORT / RAILWAY STATION/BUS STAND to catch the FLIGHT/TRAIN/BUS.

3. All transfers from one place to another will be done in the same vehicle. The entire local sight seeing and transfers will be done by the same cab. The driver will be your guide, local guardian and friend during the time of the package.
